Key Responsibilities by Phase

1 – Win Strategy & Kick Off

  • If appropriate, sit in on Strategy and Kick off meetings, noting what is important – the win themes, the proposition and big-ticket differentiation

2 – Solution & Story

  • Sit in on Solution Development where appropriate, noting what is important – discriminators, USPs and value points for the client
  • Answer plan / storyboard with the team to understand the question / scoring mechanisms and set a clear path for bid team to deliver in line with your strategy

3 – Write & Price

  • Take a proactive role in the writing of standard content / CVs / project profiles – closing gaps where possible by interviewing / questioning relevant parts of the business
  • Writes submission content assigned to them in the bid plan
  • Proof / copy edit responses to ensure compliant, compelling, benefits-driven copy

4 – Review & Finalise

  • Support the Bid Manager in ensuring content is fully compliant, quality checked to deliver a bid to deadline

7 – Handover & Mobilise

  • Capture all new content for your Bid Content Library (Aftercare)
  • Review lessons learnt / best practice from a writing perspective.
